Flipball is a prototype for a Nintendo Wii game for a Games Design class that started me in the videogames industry. This was my first time designing and programming a video game.

It is a 3D physics-based puzzle game where you control a disc with two balls. The goal is to get the black ball to the black slot, and the white ball to the white slot. The disc is two sided, so the level continues in the opposite side and you move the balls through elevators, open gates with switches and more.

It was made in Adobe Director with Havok physics and it actually works with a Wiimote connected to the PC. Crazy.

I’ll post the original prototype when I get the chance, in the meantime enjoy these gorgeous screenshots:
